Text recovery platform for abandoned shopping carts
ConnectMedia's eCartSherpa platform provides tools used to re-capture sales from abandoned e-shopping carts. When an online customer abandons a shopping cart, eCartSherpa sends an automated text message to the customer’s mobile number entered into the initial form of the shopping cart interface.
The text message provides a personalized message and unique discount code that the customer can redeem if they return to the site and complete the transaction within a specified period of time. The message can also include a link to a mobile webapp, created on the ConnectMedia platform, that provides multimedia content (video, images, testimonials, etc) used to influence the purchase. Mobile webapps can be used to direct customers back to the .com website or be used to facilitate purchases directly on their mobile device.
